Role description

The Global Health Workforce Council was convened by the American Health Information Management Association with a grant from the US Department of Labour. Members of the council worked together, and with their national professional bodies, to map the workforce competencies and core curricular requirements for training in the health information professions. Members included international leaders in eHealth workforce development and the International Medical Informatics Association. The outputs are already beginning to help shape curricula around the world.
