Description

Climate variable output from HadCM3 numerical model covering the period 850AD-2000AD

Abstract

Data generated using the HadCM3 General Circulation Model ( Hadley Centre Coupled Model version 3.). Gordon et al 2000, Pope et al 2000.

All the simulations were described in Schurer et al 2014.

The simulations include one run with all forcing from 850-2000AD, which is also archived as part of the PMIP3 project.
Additional simulations:
1 control simulation 800-2000
3 all forced runs 1400-2000
4 runs driven with only volcanic forcing 1400-2000
4 runs driven with only solar forcing 1400-2000
4 runs driven with only GHG forcing 1400-2000
4 runs driven with only a weak solar forcing 1400-2000
4 runs driven with all forcings except land use forcing 1400-2000
4 runs driven with all forcings except aerosol forcing 1750-2000
1 run driven with a strong solar forcing 800-2000
