Hedgehog Signalling in the talpid3 chicken mutant with special reference to vascular development

Current Research Interests

Hedgehog signalling and the role of cilia in development, with a focus on limb and neural tube patterning.

Research Interests

SEM Cilia

The localisation and function of TALPID3

The consequences of a loss of cilia during development

Regulation of Sonic Hedgehog during development

We use utilise a combination of classical genetics, anatomy, embryology and embryonic manipulation with modern molecular biology, genetic manipulation, gene expression profiling, proteomics and imaging techniques.
