Statistical Machine Translation, neural machine translation, models and algorithms for syntax-based SMT, morphology, domain adaptation, sentence alignment, dependency parsing, neural models for NLP, Structured machine learning models for NLP.

Biography

Rico Sennrich is a Research Associate at the Institute for Language, Cognition and Computation, University of Edinburgh, where he has worked since 2013. He received his Ph.D. in Computational Linguistics from the University of Zurich in 2013. He works on data-driven natural language processing, in particular machine translation, syntax and morphology.
