Screening of documentary Surviving Translation, panel discussion chaired by staff from Rape Crisis Scotland (RCS), with director Ling Lee and Katy Proctor, Senior Lecturer in Gender, Violence, and Criminology (Zemiology). This screening was a result of the screening in Glasgow at the GFT in June 2024 and one of the audience members works for RCS. This film had a huge impact on her and she wants to share this film for the 17 Rape Crisis Centres in Scotland plus her links to England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland plus sister organisations. This screening was the first one. Their aim is to convince funderst to understand the importance of ethical translation and interpretation.
