Description
This conference marked the end of Tate’s Art School Educated, a five-year research project investigating the impact of art education on artistic production from the 1960s to the present day and its relationship to the wider themes of education, culture and society. The project identified the decisive curriculum reforms of the major London art schools and asked how the curricula that were adopted relate to the output of the artists whose work is represented in Tate’s collection.
The Art School Educated team reflected on their findings with invited speakers this two-day conference.
