Description
A convivial discussion hosted by Voices of Experience, a collaborative project led by Suzanne Ewing, Jude Barber and Nicola McLachlan that recognises and supports the achievements of women working in architecture and the built environment. During the session the team will discuss their process and methods used to assemble and share voices, experiences, and action. They will be joined by architect Kirsty Maguire they will talk about her great-grandmother Edith Burnet Hughes, Scotland’s first woman to qualify as an architect, as well as touching on some of the women referenced by Leonor Antunes’ in her sculptural installations. A simple meal will be provided free of charge at the start of this event, and the bar will be open to buy any further refreshments. The discussion will begin at 7.15pm.Period | 24 Aug 2023 |
