Stakeholder workshop: social impacts of local/community energy

A collaborative workshop bringing together diverse LCE stakeholders to jointly define the parameters of a social impact evaluation framework. The primary aims of the workshop were to i) share stakeholder perceptions of the key social impacts of LCE; and ii) to discuss ways in which these could and should be measured across LCE projects. A focus of the workshop was on making sure that the measurement process – and outputs – are useful to, and used by, all stakeholders. Participants included: i) Practitioners from LCE projects; ii) Fund managers/intermediary organisations; iii) Policy teams at SG; iv) LCE researchers; v) Experts in community-level evaluation.
