I organized a one day meeting where 83 beekeepers from across Scotland visited the Roslin Institute for a workshop on Honey Bee Improvement. The workshop included presentations on genetically assisted breeding by Dr Diego Robledo (Roslin Institute) and selective breeding of honey bees by Roger Patterson (Bee Improvement and Bee Breeders Association). Posters of honey bee research at the Roslin Institute were presented in lunch and coffee breaks
