One hour lecture. The event was attended by 30 people. I spoke about my involvement with a citizen science project, the use of whole genome sequencing to analyze the genetic diversity of the UK honey bee population, about the development of methods to use whole genome sequencing data to analyze all of the organisms living within honey bees and about a new low cost genotyping platform to identify native honey bees.
