Description

I am co-organising with CBSS colleagues Dr Andrea Ford and Dr Sonja Erikainen a collage making workshop titled “Bodies of the Future”. This event is inspired by artists Eduardo Paolozzi and Hannah Höch, philosopher Donna Haraway, and convenors’ research on: AI and robotics in health/care (De Togni); nature and technology in the reproductive body (Ford); and imaginaries of post-gender and post-human bodies (Erikainen). The event will be part of the programme “Visualising Bodies”, co-organised with colleagues based at the Centre for Biomedicine, Self and Society and in partnership with local artists based at Edinburgh College of Arts. Number of expected attendees: 50. Online due to Covid-19 pandemic.
