Beyond Discipline: Film

A group of Chancellor's fellows (all new staff at the University of Edinburgh) got together to make a documentary about interdisciplinarity in research. We won a small grant to pay the filmmaker and interviewed many academics from around the University including Nobel Prize winner Prof Peter Higgs and Brain Prize Winner Prof Richard Morris. The documentary discusses the benefits of working across fields from multiple perspectives. We had a showing of the film at the University attended by around 100 people.
