Description
In this DE Discussion, Michael Gallagher spoke with Sandra Nanyunja of the Refugee Law Project in Uganda. Sandra and Michael worked for many years on the Foundations for All project, a collaboration between Refugee Law Project, American University of Beirut, and the University of Edinburgh. It was a project on blended learning for refugee integration into higher education. The resulting toolkit can be found here (FFA Toolkit) for anyone interested in learning more about how to get started with such programmes. Sandra and I will talk about the background context, how the programme was designed, what went wrong (spoiler: a lot!) and what we learned from it about learning design with particularly marginalised groups (and what we can all learn from that).Period | 14 Jun 2023 |
