Description
As digital technology becomes more integrated in everyday life, data algorithms start to play a larger role in everyday practices. While it is clear that they enable us to carry out transactions quickly, anywhere, and through various media, the decisions behind data transactions are often less clear, and outcomes of practices that they mediate are often overlooked. This talk will discuss the role of design in integrating and shaping such algorithms not only to redefine interactions with products but also to enable new social and economical models.
