Description
BNA 2013 London
The Roslin Institute had its very own stall called “Beastly Brains” at BNA 2013 which raised awareness of how animal brains are similar to human brains. The focus of this interactive stand was primarily on Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies (TSE’s) including Scrapie in sheep and Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) in cattle alongside CJD and Alzheimer’s in humans. I volunteered for two sessions approximately two and half hours long per session to interact with the public both young and old.
