The official launch of the book "If I Survive: Frederick Douglass and Family in the Walter O. Evans Collection", edited by Celeste-Marie Bernier and Andrew Taylor (with a foreword by Robert S. Levine and an afterword by Kim F. Hall) was accompanied by a number of public talks and readings in Europe and the US, the majority of which were open and free to the public.In the US, talks were held at:
