Description

Chair of a working group on open scholarship (data is intended broadly), impacting on policy. Produced two reports (December 2011, March 2013): 1. 'Science as a Public Enterprise' submitted to the Royal Society working group consultation 2. 'Open Access in the Post-2014 Research Excellence Framework' submitted to the HEFCE call for advice on this topic. Current activities include organising a panel debate on 'Open Data in Government, Innovation and Research' planned for March 2013.
