Description
Developmental psychology has focused only on the type of relief which is experienced when events could have been worse. Relief is also experienced, however, when an unpleasant experience is over. Four experiments examined children’s ability to attribute both counterfactual and temporal relief to others. This study provides the first evidence as to when an understanding of relief emerges in childhood.Period | 13 Apr 2021 → 16 Apr 2021 |
