This free conference from Suicide Prevention Scotland will bring together Scotland’s broad community working directly or indirectly to prevent suicide.Suicide Prevention Scotland is a community of people working together to prevent suicide across Scotland and deliver Creating Hope Together, COSLA and the Scottish Government’s suicide prevention strategy and action plan.
Their community includes people working across different sectors, community groups and volunteers and many people with lived and living experience of suicide.
The conference will help you to:
improve your knowledge of current evidence, practice and experience of suicide prevention activities
build connections with others working across Scotland to prevent suicide
Understand the part you can play within Suicide Prevention Scotland and how we can collectively deliver actions to prevent suicide.
This event could be beneficial for staff in Scotland’s colleges and universities to attend, to build on their knowledge of how their suicide prevention work could link into wider sector work.
Attendees should register interest for the Creating Hope Together Conference by the 9th of February 2024, with attendance confirmed by 16th February 2024.
