Description

A two-day symposium on Cultural Landscapes to introduce and discuss key issues, theories and pedagogical debates on the field of study. This event also launched the University of Edinburgh's partnership with Little Sparta Trust. A field visit to Ian Hamilton Finlay's renowned garden, Little Sparta took place on 6th September. The symposium was organised by Dr Penny Travlou (ESALA) and Dr Angela McClanahan (School of Art) inviting keynotes to reflect on contemporary learning and practices on cultural landscapes. The symposium facilitated discussion on a new MSc programme proposal on cultural landscapes.
