This event was an invited artist's talk, presented as an in conversation between artist Beverley Hood and artist/Cutlog member Pernille Spence, discussing Beverley's short film, an exercise in solitude. This was an open, paid event at 12noon on Saturday 7th January, as part of the SSA 130 exhibition (Society of Scottish Artists) at the Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh.CutLog is a group of artists in Scotland who have come together to create new opportunities for moving-image artists.
Selected artist Beverley Hood discussed her short film, an exercise in solitude. Filmed on her iPhone, she focuses on walking with technology as a way to re-think solitude. The piece is one of 15 selected works that were being screened in the SSA exhibition within a new installation by Mike Inglis.
