Description
Daunder Club 04 - 'Slippery Ground' with Michael Lewis, North BerwickOngoing curated walking project.
Led by invited artist/designer MIchael Lewis, the focus of this walk was the coastal territory of North Berwick. We explored the environment around The Law as a liquid landscape, defined by the co-presence of water and stone.
The walk was an observation and recording of rates of movement through landscape. From the human to the glacial, we considered the physical world as a perpetual transition of form.
During the walk participants discussed ideas prompted by Michael and in response to the landscape. Michael also presented poetry readings in situ. The event brought together a range of artists and designers, providing scope for networking and future collaboration.
