'Decolonisation & Impact: Indigenous communities and construction of knowledges'
This session aims to take stock of how we conceive impact projects and the processes involved with reference to anti-colonial scholarship and thought. We may find ourselves thinking that we are ‘decolonizing’ x or y through our impact projects but how can we maintain critical oversight of how impact projects themselves may be implicated in perpetuating implicit power imbalances. Colleagues undertaking impact projects working with indigenous communities will be reflecting on impact and knowledge construction processes through their own impact projects.
