Description
Invited speech given at the 15th Nigeria Conference on Telemedicine and Health.Claudia Pagliari reflected on her experiences of teaching health informatics to international and UK-based professionals. She outlined some of the benefits that can accrue to learners from understanding how technology is being deployed in different health systems and populations, including lessons learned about more frugal ways of doing digital heath. Along with local experts, she discussed opportunities and priorities as Nigeria moves forward with its strategy for digital health capacity building and leadership.
