Description

An online learning opportunity building policy planning skills to develop National and Territorial Action Plans aligned with INSPIRE: Seven evidence-based interventions to end violence against children.

Eliminating violence against children (VAC) is a global imperative as mandated in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Achieving the ambitious violence-related SDGs requires evidence. International agencies have demonstrated unprecedented agreement creating a common evidence-based framework to address VAC called INSPIRE: Seven Strategies to End Violence technical package.

In August 2019, Colombia became a  Pathfinding Country as part of the National Government’s effort and long-term strategy to end violence against children by 2030.  Working with the End Violence Partnership in partnership with the End Violence Lab, at the University of Edinburgh, this course will build the skills needed to effectively implement, scale up and monitor INSPIRE strategies.
