In this invited speech, aimed at NHS managers and policymakers, Dr Claudia Pagliari discussed how emerging digital innovations, business models and analytical tools are beginning to shape the nature of work in healthcare and improve workforce planning and efficiencies, as well as some of the unintended negative effects they can have if mishandled.
