Displacement: Context, Issues and Perspectives

Description

The purpose of this event was to initiate and develop a conversation across a variety of approaches to ‘displacement’ and consider the specific situation in different contexts. The overall aim was to engage academics and other key stakeholders (state and community) in future research collaboration. Therefore, the schedule for the day was based on three presentations followed by a wider discussion in the morning, as well as a series of parallel, 'theme-specific’, workshops in the afternoon. We aimed to use this event to set common agendas for research in this field, based on the participants’ experience and aspirations.
