Drawing Sound: making graphic scores

Description

A workshop to introduce people to the concept of graphic scores (visual images that replaces the conventional music score to direct music). This activity took place in the exhibition, Drawing Sound, at The Kleinert James Center for the Arts, Woodstock NY. Participants were invited to make their own scores to be played by the musicians leading the workshop. It was well attended, attracting professional artists, musicians and composers as well as the wider public.
