The Edinburgh Critical Studies in Sport research group (ECSS) at Moray House School of Education and Sport hosts a virtual international symposium on the Global Sport Industry and Coronavirus at 2.00pm on 5 June (Friday). With academics from North America, Europe, and Asia, this symposium focuses on how the sport industry in a different part of the world responds to this global health crisis. We also discuss a potential restructuring of global value chains and a possible rearrangement of the international division of labour in the world of commercial sports in the new normality of Covid-19.
