Edinburgh College of Art in Chicago

Organised and curated the Edinburgh College of Art Fashion / Textiles exhibition at the John David Mooney Centre in Chicago. The showcase exhibition featured fashion and furnishing collections from design school students at ECA. Textiles and fashion illustration portfolios were also featured and I was invited by the School of the Arts Institute in Chicago to talk to their textiles and fashion illustration students about the work of the fashion and textile programmes here at ECA. The opening night of the exhibition attracted 200 visitors. Subsequently the School of the Arts Institute were invited to become the first international partners of the Scottish Academy of Fashion. A memorandum of understanding was signed in April 2008 between both HEIs.
