Can All Walks be on the Catwalk? - Part of The Cabaret of Dangerous Ideas from The Beltane Engagement Network.

Is it realistic to expect the fashion industry to broaden its range of body ideals? Can diversity be lucrative enough to become the norm? Mal Burkinshaw, Programme Director of Fashion at Edinburgh College of Art, argued that everyone can get what they want. This show was delivered by the Diversity Network and chaired by the fabulous Susan Morrison.

"The Cabaret of Dangerous Ideas is a public debate, discussion and discourse in the company of some of the fiercest intellects this country has to offer. Are the Scots sick? Can we trust bankers? Is Edinburgh a hellish dystopia ruined by planners, toytown development and (whisper) trams? Can we stop ageing? How best do we plan for our national future? Can we? Dare we? "
