Description

Farm Detectives

From the EISF Programme: "There’s an outbreak of disease on the farm but what’s the cause and how can we stop it? Be a veterinary scientist for the day and help fellow scientists from The Roslin Institute to investigate what the disease is, where it came from and how it can be treated. Perfect for children aged 10–14. Presented by The University of Edinburgh." Children aged 10+ were invited to use microscopy, epidemiology and biochemistry to establish the bacterial cause of disease on a farm.
