Description

Deaf History Collections is a new online archive of Australian deaf history. Dr Carty will share some examples of the materials in the archive, and explore the stories they can tell us. It will show how online deaf history materials can be used in classrooms and to support researchers. Some of the ethical issues that can arise when developing archives (both physical and digital) will also be discussed.
