This interactive workshop 'Enhancing Patient and Public Involvement in Sexual and Reproductive Health', led by Nicola Boydell in collaboration with John Reynolds-Wright and Michelle Cooper (University of Edinburgh/Chalmers Sexual Health Service, NHS Lothian), brought together community and advocacy organisations, activists and health care professionals to explore opportunities and challenges for involving patients, publics and communities in abortion and contraception research and service improvement.

The event formed part of the EPPIE SRH project and included discussion on creating an Abortion and Contraception Patient and Public Involvement Group.

The project was Co-funded by the Centre for Biomedicine, Self and Society Engagement Fund and the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine Impact Fund.
