Member of GLAN - the Gaelic Local Authority Network which supports policy and practice developments in Gaelic-medium and Gaelic learners education in Scotland. I represent the University of Edinburgh on this group and provide updates on our initial teacher education provision and wider developments such as our University Gaelic Language Plan and community events. The updates from other organisations (e.g. Scottish Government, Education Scotland and local authorities) inform our research, policy and practice.
