Presentation on the topic of "Implementing Athens in the EU".Subject matter of 2018 Seminar
The aim of the 2018 workshop is to consider legal issues relating to the carriage of passengers by sea, particularly in the cruise industry, given the increasing importance of the Athens Convention on the Carriage of Passengers 2002 (currently in force in the EU and under consideration in Australia).
Global Shipping Law Forum
In 2015, the Marine and Shipping Law Unit at TC Beirne School of Law, University of Queensland, the Centre for Maritime Law at the National University of Singapore and the Centre for Commercial Studies at Queen Mary University London established the Global Shipping Law Forum as a mechanism to further discussion on pressing issues in maritime law.
