The Queen's Gallery in partnership with National Galleries Scotland held a study afternoon on Tudor and Stuart Fashion. This presentation of talks in the Hawthornden Lecture Theatre was given in connection with the exhibition 'In Fine Style' showing at the Queen's Gallery, Palace of Holyroodhouse. The exhibition was curated by Anna Reynolds, Curator of Paintings, Royal Collection Trust - she was also a speaker at the study afternoon. David talked on the subject of 'Tailoring in the seventeenth century', relating the craft and its techniques to the costume portrayed in the exhibits.
