Description
Community engagement event to launch the work of the Research and Engagement Working Group (REWG) that is investigating the university's links to slavery, colonialism and the development of racial thought. Aims:To introduce the work of the REWG as it begins exploring the University’s legacies of slavery and colonialism;
To explore any initial questions or concerns, collect initial responses and suggestions, including how the review can be shaped by community groups, for example to promote capacity building;
To enable you to network with interested groups and individuals;
To introduce and get feedback on our Principles of Participation;
And to inform you about how you can stay in contact and participate in work going forwards.
