Inclusion, exclusion and expulsions in Myanmar

Activity: Academic talk or presentation typesInvited talk

Description

Myanmar’s recent transition to democracy achieved many large commitments from international donors to support the country’s development aspiration. Yet the country still faces multiple sets of political and economic issues that pose significant problems for both donor agencies and recipients of aid. This creates huge challenges to minimize the risk of doing harm while providing meaningful aid that ensures to reconcile conflicts and inconsistencies given Myanmar’s complex background.
