Description
Following the traditional annual program commemorating Nuclear Victims Remembrance Day, the RMI’s first ever nuclear legacy conference took place in 2017. The theme for the conference was “Charting a Journey Toward Justice".Dr Michelle Keown displayed work from a teacher and student workshop held at the University of the South Pacific at the conference.
The conference also marked the start of a new phase of collaboration with artist and writer Kathy Jetnil-Kijiner, who was asked to write poems and produce artwork about the RMI nuclear legacy.
