Description
This conference aimed to bring together a diverse community of scholars, early careerresearchers, practitioners, academics, researchers, and creative methods experts, representing over
27 universities and organizations across the Global South and North from India, Bangladesh, Uganda,
Israel, UK, Italy, Estonia, Austria, Jordan, Sharjah, South Africa and more. The conference sought to go
beyond intellectual exchange, offering exposure to innovative research methodologies and
establishing a vibrant global network that connects; connecting scholars and academics, nurturing
collaborative research initiatives. The interdisciplinary nature of the event fosters cross-disciplinary
dialogue, with sessions on technology, arts-based activism, decolonial perspectives and legal
empowerment providing a comprehensive perspective. Serving as a hub for intellectual exchange
and networking, the conference becomes a catalyst for sharing impactful research findings, book
launches, fostering collaborations that transcend geographical boundaries.
