Description

This is a core module within the Masters in Public Health programme at the Centre for Population Health Sciences within Edinburgh Medical School. The course introduced the basic concepts of systematic reviews, and pooling of data through meta-analysis. The rationale for systematic reviews, how they impact on health care decision-making, and the basic steps in undertaking a systematic review was also covered. The principles of meta-analysis were also be discussed, along with some case studies.
