Title: “Lessons from two intersecting careers in myeloid malignancies”

Abstract
Transitioning to an independent position is a key step in a junior faculty member’s career. Determining which research areas to prioritize in your new lab can be challenging, but it is a crucial process. During this transition, it is essential to have open discussions with your postdoc advisor to decide which projects you can take, and how to maintain fruitful collaborations. Dr. Ross Levine and Dr. Aaron Viny will discuss how they handled this transition, while at the same time present exciting research progress from their respective laboratories.
