Description

It Works! Curatorial Discussion with curator Dr Ruth Pelzer-Montada and master printer Alastair Clark.

Edinburgh Printmakers' latest archive exhibition to celebrate 50 years of the organisation is curated by Dr Ruth Pelzer-Montada, a lecturer at Edinburgh College of Art and a long-term collaborator of Edinburgh Printmakers. It Works! focuses Edinburgh Printmakers' archive, raising questions such as: What are archives? Whom do they serve? How are they changing in the context of an increasingly technological environment? During this curatorial discussion, Pelzer will appear alongside Studio Director and Master Printer, Alastair Clark to give a unique insight into life in the oldest open access print studio in Britain, and share surprising, humorous and compelling stories behind the prints in the exhibition It Works!
