KickStart workshop
This programme is a collaborative project with the University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh Napier University, Queen Margaret University and Scotland's Rural College and is funded by the local councils in East Lothian, Midlothian and West Lothian for pupils in those areas. The aim is to provide as real an experience as possible (without the essays and exams!) and a deeper insight into some of the subject areas offered within Higher Education. During the week, subject workshops are offered from a variety of subject areas, containing a strong focus on the essential skills required to succeed in school, college or university. At the end of Kickstart, you should have a clearer idea about what you want to do when you finish school.
