Lightastic: Costume in Action

The charity Scottish love in action -SLA organised three fund raising firework events to raise funds for destitute children in India and support them through their education to adult life. I liaised with the charity to organise a costumed live performance for the events with our third year performance costume students at eca. The students designed and made costumes from saris donated by the charity and embedding lights into their designs to celebrate themes of Diwali's festival of light. The students performed to an audience of over 7,500 with the charity events raising over £3,500.
