Funding awarded from ECA £3900 Funding awarded from New Media SCotland: £500 LLEAPP 2013 was a three day workshop with participants at late stage PhD and early career academic practitioners of electronic music from across the UK, Greece and Germany. A concert on the first night was presented and then two days of intensive group workshop led by animateur Jan Hendrickse (Guildhall), culminated in a group improvisation featuring all 13 participants. LLEAPP was founded at the University of Edinburgh in 2009 by the same organising committee, and has been held at the University of Newcastle, 2010, and the University of East Anglia, 2011. LLEAPP is designed as a way of exploring communities of practice and research in electronic music making, and above all is an ongoing attempt to engage with a practice led research methodology.
