Maiden | Mother | Whore: Being Human Festival Interactive Exhibition and Panel Discussions

Maiden | Mother | Whore was presented as part of the 2024 Being Human Festival in an event combining an interactive exhibition, performance, and panel discussions. Developed through a creative partnership between Theiyā Arts Dance Collective and academics from the Centre for Biomedicine, Self and Society at the University of Edinburgh, the work explores the complex relationships between women, social structures, health and social policies, and institutions. The event featured an immersive exhibition with photos, excerpts, music, and other artefacts from the performance, a 90-minute interactive performance, and a 30-minute panel discussion.
