Description
I was invited to be a guest speaker as part of the Digital Speaker Series at the HighWire Centre for Doctoral Training, University of Lancaster, aimed at PhD students on themes relating to digital/innovation/societal impact. My presentation was about Mapping & Tracking, a participatory, collaborative project, exploring GPS tracking via mobile devices as a performative drawing material, blending technology and creativity. Using the Forth Valley Royal Hospital and the surrounding forest as a canvas, the project is a collaboration between artist, lecturer and researcher Beverley Hood, visual artist Sharon Quigley, audio-visual artist Emma Bowen and participants of the Abrupt Encounters program.| Period | 28 Nov 2013 |
