On Sunday, July 26, MAS Context organized a conversation coinciding with the week-long online screening of the film Uppland. The event was moderated by Danny Hoffman, Bartley-Dobb Professor for the Study and Prevention of Violence, and Chair of the African Studies Program in the University of Washington’s Jackson School for International Studies. In this event, Danny Hoffman moderated a discussion about the main ideas behind the film Uppland with film director Edward Lawrenson, architect and film co-producer Killian Doherty, and architect Sumayya Vally. After the conversation, the program included a Q+A session.
